Grand Rapids' native son Mark Lavengood has toured the Regional, National, and International music circuits for over 10 years. Best known for his dynamic slide guitar playing, Mark prefers recording and performing music that cuts right through to the human condition. Wearing a multitude of hats as a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, band leader, teacher, active member of Michigan's Earthwork Music Collective, emeritus member of Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, source of motivational energy, hobbyist massage therapist, Spanish translator and idea generator, Lavengood (affectionately known globally as "Huggy Bear") employs his skill sets to engage with communities through song and voice and collaboration. I'm over in England, big lover of country and western swing. I have a six string gretsch electromatic and I play in c6 I love it so much , would like another to have GBDGBD tuning as well. Would love to have one of those Stringmasters to play but very appreciative of the one I have. Love and blessings

Alot of companies are doing this now making high end sounding guitars for under 1000! Blueridge and alvarez masterworks are like easily as good sounding as martins and taylors!
The secret is out! Its all in the woods, the bracing and the neck. Not really big ticket items unless you're only building a few dozen guitars, but if they are manufacturing hundreds or even thousands, they can really make a quality guitar and keep the prices reasonable. It's a shame that Gibson pulled this guitar from the Epiphone Masterbilt line up.

The Stringmaster was used by Santo & Johnny on their songs, including "Sleep Walk". Except theirs had 3 necks.

I recently purchased a parted out champion with everything but the pots, tuners and pickup. I wish I could say I put the Seymour Duncan's replacement pickup already but I sawa sweet National appeal steel I had to get lol

are both have same strings gauges and types?
Depends on the tuning for each neck - you could use the same gauges for each neck but might want different gauges if the tunings call for it ❤️🙌
